Hello Everyone,

I hope you, your family, friends, and loved ones are safe and healthy. 

As we continue to navigate our way into the unknown of the construction industry, gaining the union market share is at the top of my mind. In order to do this, we need to position ourselves with the skills, expertise, and relationships that will add a unique value that nonunion contractors cannot.

We at Local 393 must take the time to learn amongst ourselves and with our MEPS partners so that together we lead the nation to gain more union market share.

Therefore, Local 393 is leading the way in offering the MEPS Lean Construction training and certification program. We want the union’s voice to be the only voice heard at the table with developers, owners, and policymakers.

By uniting, learning, and leading this initiative we will force the project decision-makers to realize union labor is the only labor that is skilled and trained to manage and build California.

I personally invite you to join me in this effort by registering to participate in the upcoming Virtual MEPS Lean Construction Training. Classes begin November 3rd. 

UA Local 393 and XL Construction will be leading the MEPS Lean Construction training sessions. We have invited Local 104, 332, and 483 members and signatory contractors to virtually gather together with us so that we may all learn together, as well from each other, and unite our voices as one at the project negotiating table with training and skills that NO nonunion contractor will have.
