An Important Message from the UA General President

July 29, 2019

Dear UA Local 393 Members,

We recently began notifying our UA Brothers and Sisters about an attack on the registered apprenticeship programs that make us who we are. We get the job done right ‐ on time ‐ and on budget because of the level of skill our members bring to every job, every day. Anti‐union contractors want to destroy our apprenticeship programs so they can cut corners and boost their own profits. They want the Department of Labor to undermine every element of our training for their own gain.

We can’t let that happen. Have your voices heard and stop the assault on programs that result in skilled tradespeople who make good wages and understand the importance of safety on the job. We need your help in securing the future of our apprenticeship programs.

Please TAKE ACTION today!

Journeyworkers and Retirees go to: SaveUATraining.org
Apprentices and Helpers go to: SaveUAApprenticeships.org
Tradeswomen can also go to: ProtectTradeswomen.org
Friends and Family go to: SaveConstructionApprenticeships.org

Fraternally,

Mark McManus
General President
