Hello UA Local 393 Brothers and Sisters —

It is with great sadness that I announce our beloved member Joe Castellano passed away on April 22, 2023.

Services will be held for Joe on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Green Valley Christian Church, located at 3900 N. Ridge Vista Ave., San Jose, CA 95127, followed by a finger food potluck. The family extends an invitation to all of UA Local 393.

Joe was born on July 2, 1979. He led a life full of kindness and laughter shared with family and friends. Joe’s favorite pastimes were to ride quads with the kids, hold Bible study sessions at his home, and his recent joy was learning how to garden.

Joe started his apprenticeship with UA Local 393 in 2007, where he started and spent his entire career working for ACCO. In 2012, Joe’s passion for helping others led him to become an instructor teaching Blueprint Reading and Drawing, Review & Turnout, and Advanced Drawing. Joe was the guy that everyone loved, respected, admired, and learned from. It was an honor to have him as a part of our UA Local 393 family.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Melissa, and four children, Josiah, Isai, Genesie, and Joseph Junior.
